Who is Riley Lee?

If you are a parishioner of St. Anne's Church I'm sure you may recognize or know me.  My family and I regularly attend 8:30am Mass on Sunday mornings. You can often find me working as a Greeter or serving as an Altar Server.  Over the years, I've received all my sacraments at St. Anne's, most recently in 2019 my Confirmation.

Since a little girl, I grew up watching Scouting from my brother's perspective. I often tagged along as he volunteered at the Fish Fry, with the Discovery Bay Lions Club or picking up Christmas Trees. He is also a scout with Troop 514 in Discovery Bay and earned the rank of Eagle Scout in 2018.....You may recognize his Eagle Scout project on St. Anne's campus as he installed the redwood signs.

On February 1, 2019, when Boy Scouts of American finally allowed girls into their organization, I jumped at the opportunity. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would have the same opportunity to earn the rank of Eagle Scout like my brother. I am excited to be working towards earning Eagle Scout and honored to potentially be a member of the first class of females to do so.

I am a Life Scout, and the Senior Patrol Leader in Troop 514G. In a little over a year I've earned over 43 Merit Badges, camped 21 nights, participated in 99 hours of community service and hiked over 20 miles.

In addition to scouting, I am also a member of the Delta Valley Diving team in Stockton and enjoy playing the piano. Finally, I am looking forward to starting my freshman year this fall at St. Mary's High School in Stockton.
